May a child legally own and operate a business or corporation, in the US?
In the United States, is a minor (someone under the age of 18) legally allowed to own or be the CEO of a business or even a major corporation? What kind of child labor laws would apply?
They are allowed to be owners but may not sign contracts on behalf of the company.
They could not be CEO’s as they can’t sign contracts.

It’s got nothing to do with child labor laws. It’s simply the law that says you must be a legal adult (18 or over) to sign a contract. It’s impossible to own a company or be a CEO without signing contracts.
