I have a shelf company in Canada. What it is, is someone who already started a numbered company but didn’t see it through. All of the legal work has already been done, it just needed to be registered by my lawyer. I ended up paying less than $200 for the company, including registration. It’s merely an inexpensive way to purchase a numbered company, and all of the leg-work is done for you.
